░ Update: Michelle Phan...For Real ░

So I was on Facebook yesterday and was ecstatic to see a 'Michelle Phan commented on your photo' notification. It was Michelle Phan's second account (which I thought she made). So there I was screen capturing & tweeting about it. Until she got all weird liking all my status and even the photo of my dogs' vaccination certificates! She even wrote on my wall "How are you Say Tioco Artillero". My fellow guru told me she was skeptical about it and so was I! I decided to investigate and found out that this poser is a Filipino! A girl, perhaps. How I found out? Through Filipino "fan pages". I mean why the hell would Michelle join those and SPEAK in Tagalog, even (she wrote a comment down her friend's page I suppose)?! I decided to write a post on Michelle's first account about someone faking her account and was surprised to see message the second Michelle Phan sent me. And that conversation is this one right here. As you can see, her English is very very bad. Gosh I was really annoyed because I got excited over nothing!!! She clearly stole all of Michelle Phan's photos! Which is super illegal! I decided to tell everyone to join me and report this poser's profile and she was gone in less than a minute! The Facebook Team acted really fast and I thank them for that. Posers should totally be taught a lesson. I felt so disappointed and never thought that the real Michelle Phan would post a comment on my page ever again.
...THAT IS UNTIL TODAY HAPPENED.
So you see, it was a normal day. I didn't film any tutorial or vlog as you all can tell. And then I checked my online accounts as usual and my eyes widened when I saw a Michelle Phan comment on my video! I was like, wait I have to check who this really is. I clicked on the name and voila, the REAL Michelle Phan's YouTube channel popped out! I became super excited! Finally! Michelle Phan everyone!!! That's like the sweetest compliment ever! I mean look at her comment! Isn't she the sweetest?! You will see the comment if you go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iN6hprRxZE This is the link to my video Remake of Michelle Phan's Pretty Prom. I added this as a video response to her video so that is why I think she was able to watch this. I feel so honored to have a MICHELLE PHAN watch my video. That is like the greatest thing ever! Don't you think so? I do! So in this whole thing you can see how Yin & Yang works. I will forever remember this date!

░ Beauty Tutorial: Remake of Michelle Phan's Pretty Prom ░

About two days ago, I filmed a remake of Michelle Phan's latest tutorial. She called it  "Pretty Prom". As inspired as I always get whenever I watch her videos, I put my heart into doing my version of it. I totally do not take credit for anything that I used in the video because I solely imitated what Michelle Phan did in hers. The only difference is the products.
So for a more detailed tutorial (in blog form), please continue reading below:
I started with a clean face, moisturized with Myra E Daily Sun Protect. One thing I like very much about this product is that it leaves my skin really supple. That is an indication I look for in moisturizers. After moisturizing, I applied foundation with a foundation brush. Usually you can use your fingers, but oftentimes I opt to use the brush instead. As usual I used my Maybelline Aqua Gel Foundation. My shade is in True Beige and that is in #24. I've been using this foundation for such a long time now but as I've said, I'll be making the big switch sometime soon. My E.l.f. Foundation Brush is always the best tool that goes w/ applying foundation. Some people find it too flimsy, but I personally am contented with how it's built and all. A Michelle Phan trick: Apply the foundation with the brush in criss-cross motions. She said that this will reduce the streak marks. Never ever forget applying your foundation down to your jawline and neck. We do not want uneven skin tone. Nothing is more unattractive than that. I usually do not conceal anymore--I believe the foundation did the concealing already. It's been a long time since I've used concealers. So I move on to powder pressing next. I used loose powder this time, and a total face brush. I opted to use my Nichido Final Powder in So Natural and my E.l.f Total Face Brush which is a big rounded fluffy brush. Tapping a good amount of loose powder onto the cap is the best way to get the product out of the container. Swirl your face brush into the powder, tap the excess powder from the brush, and apply on the face by pressing the powder in. You will be able to see me doing it in the video above and in Michelle Phan's video, of course. The pressing method sets the foundation good and it will last longer than usual. After setting the foundation, it's time to redefine the eyebrows. As usual, follow the natural shape of the brows. For the eyeshadow, I'm going to show you a detailed photo of the last four columns of the DollFace 96 Color Palette.
So first you take the shimmering peach and apply it on the inner thirds of your eyes, then the shimmering purple on the outer corners of the eyes, then lastly the matte purple on the outer V. Blend away the colors softly. I used my E.l.f. Bronzing/Blending/Blush Brush for blending. Next will be using the white and black eyeliner. Michelle Phan basically applied the white liner on the lower waterline and extended the color to the tearducts. The black liner was applied below the lower lashline and extended also. This gives an illusion of bigger eyes. I used a new set of lashes for this tutorial. These lashes are really pretty & they are made with real hair. They're actually super cheap and I got like three pairs of them. As usual I applied them with my Playmate Lash Glue. After that, curling and applying mascara comes next. I used my Nichido Lash Curler and my Nichido Lash Defining Mascara. I used Nichido Liquid Liner to coat my lower lashes--this defined the lower lashes, but did not add volume, which is what we need. For the blush I used my MAC Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon. I applied my Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey on my lips and added a hint of MAC Dazzleglass in Like Venus on top of it.
So basically that's the whole look. Michelle Phan is my biggest inspiration ever, and I find remaking her videos such a joy. Some haters get bothered why I always make remakes of her videos and one even told me to create my own looks. Well, I do create my own--I just think they're ignorant enough to say whatever they wanna say and not check their facts first. People can be so rude at times. And I cannot care less about strangers' rude comments. I won't let them bother me. I am in YouTube to share my talent to people who actually appreciate it, not to people who try to bring me down. So, I am saying thank you to the people who actually appreciate my works. And to those who don't, then just shut up and leave my page! Easy as that. Let us all live a happy and peaceful life. I ain't here to please anybody.

░ Beauty Tutorial: My DollFace Look ░

HOW TO: "Dollface Look"...

BLOG TUTORIAL
Apply color #1 on the inner thirds of your eyes. The white shade beside it will be used to highlight the brow bone and the inner corners of the eyes. After highlighting and applying the first eyeshadow, you take shade #2 and apply it on the center of the lids. Shade #3 is for the outer V, and shade #4 is for the crease area. Lastly, select any blue shimmering eyeshadow from the palette and apply it along the lower lashline.
After doing the eyeshadow application, you then curl your lashes and apply lengthening mascara on the upper and the lower lashes (especially the lower lashes to get that doll-like eyes). I used #1 Maybelline Volum'Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Mascara in the photo below. After the eyes, we move on to the lips. I used Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey (not in the photo) and apply #2 MAC Dazzleglass in Like Venus over it. The shimmery touch of the gloss revamped the whole look. As for the face, I contoured using E.l.f. Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder and applied it along the hollows of the cheeks and the jawline. As for the foundation, powder, and the brows, I used the same products like what I always do.
I hope this blog tutorial was helpful to you.
I encourage everyone to order from DollFace Cosmetics:

░ Beauty Tutorial: Remake of Michelle Phan's Clubbing Makeup ░

The music I used in this video is "Rise" by Samantha James (Eric Kupper Mix). Michelle Phan had the same music in hers and I felt that this remake would be more successful if I added the same background music. Also, it is not the first time that I used this song in my tutorials.
"...for a fun night out." as said by Michelle Phan (RiceBunny)
The intensity of the cat eyes, the fierceness of the lips--the two things attracted me to create a remake of Michelle Phan's Clubbing Makeup. I really wanted the look to be closely similar to that of Michelle's and I hope you think I did. Continue reading below and be informed about the products that I used.
For the FACE:
Maybelline Aqua Gel Foundation #24 True Beige (1)
Maybelline Clear Smooth Extra Powder Foundation Sand Beige (3)
Nichido Final Powder in So Natural (2)
Nichido Kabuki Brush (4)
Tools: Victoria Vogue Wedge Sponge, E.l.f. Foundation Brush
For the BROWS:
Nichido Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown (1)
E.l.f. Clear Lash and Brow Gel (2)
For the EYES, three shades made the look possible:
Dollface 96 Color Palette (Peach Shades) Numbered 1 and 2 in the photo below. MAC 4x Palette's über dark violet shade [which comes out in a black hue] Numbered 3 in the photo. Sadly I do not know the name of this eyeshadow although I am aware that it has a name.
E.l.f. Duo Eyeshadow Cream in Black Licorice (Photo number 7, #2)
Scotch Tape
Tools: regular eyeshadow brushes (one small shader brush, and one regular shader brush)
For the LASHES:
Maybelline Volum'Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Mascara (2)
Nichido Lash Curler (1)

FOR CONTOURING THE FACE:
E.l.f. Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder *Brushed along the sides of the nose and the jawline.*
Tools: E.l.f. Bronzing/Blending/Blush Brush (3:photo below)

FOR THE CHEEKS:
MAC Sheertone Blush in Pink Swoon *Applied on the cheekbones* (#1, photo above)
Tools: E.l.f. Bronzing/Blending/Blush Brush
FOR THE LIPS:
Lipliner: Nichido Lip Liner in Rosette (2)
Lipcolor: Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Pink Flame (1)
Lipgloss: MAC Dazzleglass in Like Venus *Applied over the matte lipstick* (3)
This combination gives off a very good shade for the lips. The MAC Dazzleglass gloss gave such beautiful shine and shimmer.
